Q: How to enable Hotlink protection?

A: Click on HotLink Protection (cPanel > HotLink Protection) and click on the Activate button.


Q: How to allow direct requests?

A: Click on HotLink Protection, make sure the box beside Allow direct requests is checked and click on the Activate button.


Q: How to disallow direct requests?

A: Click on HotLink Protection, make sure the box beside Allow direct requests is unchecked and click on the Activate button.


Q: How to change the URL to redirect when hotlinked?

A: Click on HotLink Protection, enter the URL you wish to redirect users in the field next to Url to redirect to and click on the Activate button.


Q: How to add extensions to the hotlink protection?

A: Click on HotLink Protection, add the extension you wish to add in the field next to Extensions to allow and click on the Activate button.


Q: How to remove extensions from the hotlink protection?

A: Click on HotLink Protection, remove the extension you wish to remove in the field next to Extensions to allow and click on the Activate button.
